Air Transat From London To Montreal

It’s no secret that the transatlantic aviation market is quite competitive. And it’s not just flights between New York and London. Indeed, flights from a number of major North American cities will bring up competitive fairs from numerous carriers. This is the reason why I decided to take a cheap Ryanair service to London, and then book a flight from London to Vancouver with Air Transat. This also afforded me the opportunity to try a different airline with different aircraft than I normally would with a complete itinerary from my home city of Vilnius, Lithuania.

Flight background
While Air Transat offers direct seasonal service between London and Vancouver, this service would require a connection in Montreal. Already having to self-connect in London, and then transfer with the airline in Montreal, you might be wondering if it was all worth it. Well, the marginal savings was one factor, but as an avgeek, the opportunity to try out Air Transat’s new Airbus A321LRs was the much bigger justification. This obscure itinerary also provided me with the ability to visit friends in London, which was also a great bonus.
