When most think about Netflix and flying, watching the streaming service on a flight is what comes to mind. However, the streaming giant operates its own aviation arm as well, known as Netflix Aviation, to facilitate travel for its staff and those on contract for new releases. Now, the company is looking to hire a flight attendant for its operations based out of San Jose Airport (SJC). Let’s find out more.

First spotted on Twitter by Lucky Girl, Netflix posted a job opening on its website. The company describes its aviation arm’s goal as providing “exceptional, safe, confidential air transportation.” According to the description, the company is looking for an FAA-certified and trained flight attendant who will operate trips on a super midsize jet, namely the Gulfstream G550.
In addition to the standard duties of cabin crew, such as pre-flight checks and maintaining emergency equipment, working for a private operator comes with some extra roles. This will include picking up stock for flights, helping with baggage loading, and work a variable schedule of domestic and international flights of varying length.
