If you are a fan of rock ‘n’ roll, then Elvis Presley surely would have your heart. And what if we told you that the icon’s private jet found in the New Mexico desert, could be yours next month? Mecum auctions are holding an auction in January where Elvis Presley’s private jet — 1962 Lockheed 1329 JetStar — is going up for auction.
In 1976, Presley bought the red-and-silver-liveried JetStar, which was considered the jet of choice for celebrities and CEOs, for $4.4 million. Presley bought the jet a year before his death in 1977.
A peek into it’s design
