Mecum auctions are holding an auction in January where Elvis Presley’s private jet — 1962 Lockheed 1329 JetStar — is going up for auction.
In 1976, Presley bought the red-and-silver-liveried JetStar, which was considered the jet of choice for celebrities and CEOs, for $4.4 million. Presley bought the jet a year before his death in 1977.
A peek into it’s design
