There have been many difficult conversations about our aviation network in recent weeks, but one thing is abundantly clear: Air travel is back and in extraordinarily high demand. Between rebounding leisure and business travel and aviation’s critical role in the cargo and logistics landscape, the industry’s outlook is healthy and profitable. The International Air Transport Association says passenger demand will reach 85.5 per cent of its 2019 highs this year.
